07-27 Can you believe this Now we are heading explore old silvermines under Tombstone, AZ The reason the city was here. There are over 300 Miles yes Miles of mines at deep as 1500 feet below Tombstone.
07-27 We have a guide because there are over 300 miles of mine tunnels that go as deep as 1,500 ft. under Tombston. We had to bring our one helmets, flashlights, knee pads and gloves. No lighted paved path. This is really exploring old stuff and it is cool.
07-27 This is an air shaft dug from the bottom up there is no debris around the top of the hole.
This one comes up in donkey corral on top.
07-27 Climbing down to a lower level. We were down about 300 feet. The water table is a 500 feet. Since there are no more water pumps working everything below 500 feet is flooded today.

07-27 Helena passing some old blocking from the 1880s the wood is in perfect shape. All this was dug by candle light, hammer, chisel and blasting powder. Each miner brought down a wax candle to work by.
07-27 There are natural Geodes in the ceiling and sides of the walls.

07-27 below another air shaft to the surface a snake has been living down here for a couple of years. It feeds on what ever falls down from above.
07-27 Making our way out of the mine, we were down there for 3 and half hours – cool. you do this in the summer in tombstone. Coming out into the bright heat is another feeling.
07-27 you have to go to a gun fight show while your there Helena got to be in it and shot one of the bad guys.
You also find out the first Movie moved the gun fight from Front street to the OK Corral because is looked better. In real life back then you wouldn’t have a gun fight where you might hit the transportation.
07-27 Little did the actors know that Helena and Anthony could probably give them a run for pistol shooting.
